Irosha was educated at Buddhist Ladies College International and she has decided to do her A/L privately. Her fist move in public came when her sister Nilushi Perera who performed the main role in”Muthu Menika” the paper Sanda Renu youth paper wanted to have the Photo of Nirosha on the cover page. And from this she was lucky to be selected to the swarnavahini TV Sinhala Musical programme Vega Gee . From this first appearance in the small screen she became famous and popular.
